Baby Ava has arrived!

Big brown eyes, full head of hair and beautiful lips. This newborn can not get any cuter! Arriving to newborn sessions can be intimidating and scary at times. Being a mother of two little babies I have had my fair share of feedings, changings and the old fashion cry that seems to never stop at times....but this is not my own baby, this is a baby who is the most important human being to their parents. I want to be patient and make sure that the mother feels I can handle it, so I pull in the driveway, take a deep breath, continue wondering over and over how much lighting I have to work with and open the door to introduce myself to the brand new parents...... I gather all three car loads of newborn stuff I have gathered over the years and get prepared. Once everything is prepared. I get to finally hold that little bundle of joy. That is how most of my newborn sessions go.

Baby Ava was just a beauty. I got her wrapped in cheesecloth to match that beautiful skin of hers and when I looked through my lens, her eyes were glaring right into mine. Such an amazing experience and that is why I love to photograph newborns. This job will never get old. Thank you very much to her parents for allowing me to capture their beauty <3.
